Postal Worker Faces Charges for Delivering Marijuana

A second United States Postal Service worker has pleaded guilty to a federal marijuana charge after drugs were mailed to Huntington from California over several years. U.S. Attorney Mike Stuart said agents watched as two packages containing marijuana mailed from California were loaded into Michael Morton’s delivery truck and taken to a Dollar General store in the 800 block of Norway Avenue in Huntington. Morton gave the packages to James Molinaro, who was there in a separate vehicle. A West Virginia state trooper stopped Molinaro’s vehicle and recovered the package, which contained 16 pounds of marijuana. As part of the plea, Morton said between 2015 and March 2018, he worked with Molinaro, Chris Crookshanks and other people to distribute marijuana in Huntington. The others are also facing charges.
