Cities Host Christmas Parades Over The Next Two Weeks

Christmas parades are happening in several cities this holiday season, including Charleston. The annual Christmas parade starts at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec 12 on Kanawha Boulevard between Clendenin and Capitol streets, and then continues on Capitol Street north to Quarrier Street, Quarrier Street west to Clendenin Street and Clendenin Street south to Kanawha Boulevard. Dunbar will host its parade December 6th at 7 pm with the Christmas tree lighting at City Hall right after. Huntington’s Christmas parade happens December 7th at 5:30 pm at the intersection of 12th Street and Fourth Avenue. Hurricane has its parade on Main Street starting at 4 p.m. Dec 14.
