You may notice some changes the next time you’re in the grocery store checkout line. Because of the novel coronavirus, grocery chains including Walmart and Kroger are installing sneeze guards. Walmart is putting up sneeze guards at Walmart and Sam’s Club pharmacies, and they’ll go up soon at Walmart registers. The Plexiglas sneeze guards will serve as barriers between customers and cashiers. Publix also announced it would add them in its 1,200 locations soon, and Kroger will also install them in 35 states.
