Residents of Mingo County who have COVID-19 symptoms or are considered high risk soon will have the option to test through a drive-thru clinic. The Mingo County Health Department says anyone experiencing fever, cough and shortness of breath or those who have been in contact with someone with a confirmed case of the virus are encouraged to call for pre-screening. (Hours for pre-screening are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday using the number 304-899-6119 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Thursday using the number 304-235-3570) The drive-thru testing site will be in the large parking lot at Williamson Memorial Hospital this Friday, April 10.
