The West Virginia Supreme Court upheld the conviction of Lena Lunsford, who was found guilty of killing her three-year-old daughter in 2018. She’s serving life in prison with no chance for parole. Lunsford’s attorney cited nine reasons why he believed she was wrongfully convicted. All five Supreme Court justices affirmed the convictions.
