Governor Justice appointed Zachary Perry to be the new Delegate for the 16th District in the West Virginia House of Delegates. Perry fills the vacancy created by the resignation of John Mandt, who resigned over inappropriate social media posts. It will be shorted lived. Perry will fill the remainder of the unexpired term, and is not running in the General Election. Mandt’s name is still on the ballot, and he says he will serve if he is re-elected.
