Surveillance camera images led to identifying a suspect in the investigation of a growing trash dump in McDowell County. Several loads of trash and debris had been dropped off at the site, and officers reviewed surveillance images to get photos of the person involved. The man was charged and convicted of several litter violations and is responsible for cleaning up the pile as part of his restitution, according to police.
