High water remains a concern today. As flash flooding in some areas subsides, meteorologists say the runoff from smaller stem streams and creeks will flow into the larger rivers. The delayed reaction time could mean that flash floods pop up in other areas over the next day or two. The Ohio River could take 2 to 3 days to drop below the flood stage depending on location.
