Cat Rescue Group Needs Help After Dozens of Cats Are Dumped Near the Shelter

A Cabell County animal rescue group is asking the public for financial help after it said 40 cats and kittens were found dumped down the road near the shelter.
Little Victories Animal Rescue Shelter said in a Facebook post Tuesday that the shelter was already completely full and has no place to keep the cats. The shelter said some of the cats are ill, and some of the female cats are pregnant.
The rescue group needs food for cats and kittens now, and they said it will cost more than $8,000 to provide veterinary care for the cats.
