A little bit of West Virginia took to the sky when Blue Origin’s rocket went into space. Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos says the movie “October Sky” inspired him to push forward with his plans for space travel. The movie is based on West Virginia Native Homer Hickam’s book “Rocket Boys.” Hickam did some consulting with Blue Origin ahead of the flight.
