Putnam County deputies are requesting information from the public to help in an investigation after someone vandalized property at the county’s fairgrounds. The sheriff’s office said Friday in a Facebook post that someone vandalized and defaced some of the property at the Putnam County Fairgrounds in Eleanor. Volunteers had been working on the area to improve the fairgrounds. Photos show graffiti painted on walls and other structures and deep ruts where a vehicle has been driven on grass. Anyone with information about the incident or can help identify the individual or individuals responsible is asked to contact the sheriff’s office or the Eleanor Police Department.
