A Man is Arrested After Steal the Pastor’s Car From a Huntington Church

A man allegedly stole a pastor’s car in Guyandotte and led officers in Cabell County on a two-state pursuit. The incident started at First Huntington Christian Baptist Church, where Pastor Delbert Dixon said someone jumped in his car that was running while he was getting supplies and took off. Huntington police said the chase began on Route 60 about an hour after the car was stolen. It went over the 31st Street Bridge into Ohio and then down into Huntington. Officers used spike strips in front of Cabell Huntington Hospital to flatten tires on the vehicle. Dixon said the man also used his credit cards throughout the trip and that is how they were able to track him down.
