Arrest Made After Driver Hits Pedestrians at the Mason County Fair

The driver who hit several people at the Mason County Fair has been arrested. Christopher Sturgeon has been charged with DUI causing serious bodily injury after the sheriff’s office said he lost control of his car and hit two elderly people and three juveniles who were walking to the fair. One of the young victims was life flighted to Cabell Huntington Hospital and then to Morgantown. Sturgeon is being held at the Western Regional Jail.
