Cabell County Schools will have a staggered re-entry plan for its first week of classes, based on the student’s last name. The county school system also said it is adopting the state’s color-coded metrics for re-entry. If the county’s code would ever move to orange during the week, proper steps would be taken, including canceling sporting events. If the code moves to red, all buildings would immediately close to students and remote learning would begin. Classes begin Sept. 8th.
