Education leaders say that the pandemic continues to have a significant impact on both secondary and higher education. State Higher Education Chancellor Dr. Sarah Armstrong Tucker says, ”enrollment and room and board are down, auxiliary activities have been cut out, and there is the possibility of several colleges closing in the fall.” She says colleges and universities need federal funds for COVID-19 testing and to replace lost revenue.
