A fire ripped through the Nitro Supermarket last Thursday night and that knocked out power, causing the dairy and meat sections to spoil. Most of the flames were confined to the second floor in a storage and office area. The cause of the fire was initially traced to the air conditioning system but it’s still under investigation. Meanwhile, those who depend on Nitro’s main supermarket will have to drive further for their staples.
