A man faces several charges after Kanawha County deputies said an employee at a Subway store in Sissonville reported he jumped over the counter, slapped her in the face and damaged the digital credit card reader. 22-year old Luis Diaz-Chinchilla of Charlotte, N.C., was arrested Saturday following an incident inside the Little General convenience store on Call Road, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Members of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office had detained the suspect after conducting a traffic stop on I-77. Diaz-Chinchilla is charged with assault, battery and destruction of property and is currently being held at South Central Regional Jail.
