More Strict Guidelines In Place for Three Counties

Gov. Jim Justice announced Saturday night he is extending an executive order he issued for the Eastern Panhandle that implemented more stringent guidelines and restrictions amid the coronavirus to also include Kanawha, Monongalia and Harrison counties. Groups are limited to a maximum of five people, all employees should work from home to the maximum extent possible, and the National Guard and West Virginia State Police are assisting with local order enforcement. Thirty-eight percent of the COVID-19 cases in West Virigina are in Kanawha, Monongalia and Harrison counties.
