Murder Trial is Delayed to Give the Attorney More Time To Go Over Evidence

The trial for two men accused of murdering another has been continued in Kanawha County. The trial had a court continuance, because Mikeo Wooton’s new attorney, John Carr, did not have enough time to go over discovery evidence. Eyewitness News reported the trial is now set for March 6, 2023. Wooton and Davone Lee Foote Jr.’s are charged with first-degree murder for the death of Keyshawnta St. John, of Charleston.
