Clendenin has a new stage in the downtown area. Kent Carper, Kanawha County Commission President, and Commissioner Ben Salango were among the dignataries to attend the ribbon cutting for the new stage last weekend. Construction of the stage was funded by contributions from the Harper Family Foundation. The Clendenin VFD collected money for KY flood relief at the ribbon-cutting event.
