A Kanawha County classroom aide is among the finalists for the West Virginia Department of Education’s 2020 Service Personnel of the Year Award. Stephanie Toliver is an employee at Nitro Elementary School, and has spent 15 years as an assistant in special education classrooms. She’s one of five finalists for the award. The finalists, along with the county service personnel of the year winners, will be honored during a virtual service in conjunction with the West Virginia Teacher of the Year Program.
