Huntington police are investigating after someone tried to blow up a mailbox on 12th Street by putting fireworks inside. The door was damaged, and some of the mail was burned. Ten WVU students test positive for COVID-19

At least ten students at WVU have tested positive for COVID-19. Several of the students were on the WVU Health Sciences campus in Morgantown and the Eastern Panhandle. Patients were not exposed to the students. Tracers are following up and will be in contact with anyone who may been exposed.

Charleston City Counci will vote on fate of Kanawha Riflemen plague

Charleston City Council will consider a resolution to donate a plague that was removed from Ruffner Memorial Park, to a museum. The plague lists the names of more than 90 men who were members of the Confederate-aligned Kanawha Rifleman. Mayor Goodwin had the monument removed after complaints about a Confederate monument on city property.
