Parkersburg police want the help of volunteers in the ongoing search for 28-year old Gretchen Fleming. The a large-scale effort is planned for Saturday in Wood County. Fleming has been missing for more than two months, last seen Dec. 4 leaving the My Way Lounge and Restaurant in Parkersburg. She was reported missing Dec. 12. Parkersburg Police Department said in a Facebook post that anyone who is interested in helping in the search is asked to arrive at the large parking lot next to the flood wall at Second and Avery streets in downtown Parkersburg no later than 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. Volunteers will be required to sign in when they arrive. After meeting, volunteers will be traveling to the area to be searched. The search will continue until about 5 p.m. A $65,000 reward has been offered in the case.
