The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department is warning those wtih mandatory quarantine orders to obey them. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department issues the orders for those with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis along with those they may have infected. Sheriff Mike Rutherford said someone ordered to quarantine who fails to follow the instructions will face consequences. If you believe someone is violating a quarantine order contact the Health Department at 304-348-1088. If they confirm someone is ignoring their orders then the sheriff’s office will assist.
