The West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition is scrambling to keep the SNAP Stretch Program going. The program doubles or triples federal benefits at farmers markets, but funding has run out for this year, and federal grant money was denied for next year. A request for federal CARES Act money is pending with the governor.
