The 97th State Fair of West Virginia continues this week in Lewisburg. In addition to the live music, attractions range from aerial stunts and acrobatics to glass blowing and blacksmith demonstrations. There are nightly fireworks displays through the end of the fair, and those happen at 10:30 pm. The fair is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $13 at the gate. Kids 10 and younger are free. Amusement ride passes are an additional $30. Today there is a Discount Day Ride Special and those tickets are $25. The fair runs through Saturday, Aug. 20.
