The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said a man wanted for ramming a police cruiser during a pursuit has been taken into custody. Shawn “Shug” Risner was arrested at a home in Fallsburg, Kentucky. Last week, the sheriff’s office said Risner, who was wanted on a parole violation, fled during a traffic stop and led deputies on a pursuit where the driver struck a cruiser twice during the chase, and the pursuit was called off due to safety reasons. A handgun and a large bag of methamphetamine that were thrown from the suspect’s vehicle were recovered.
