West Virginia is among the best states for affordability

West Virginia is among the most affordable places to live, according to a study by Consumer Affairs. The study looked at factors including housing, taxes, groceries, and healthcare. West Virginia ranks just below North Dakota, the state in the #1 spot for housing, with the lowest median prices for homebuying and renting. West Virginians spend one quarter of what Hawaiians spend on housing. The study also showed that West Virginia has the lowest state and local tax burden.
