Woman facing animal cruelty charges for leaving cats in a hot car

A woman is accused of leaving a dozen cats in a hot car. A passerby saw the cats in a car parked on Prospect Street in Guyandotte. Animal control officers found two dead cats and a dead kitten. The rest of the cats were taken to the animal shelter in poor condition. Forty-nine-year-old Crystal Nance is facing twelve counts of animal cruelty. She told officers she’d been recently evicted.
