Glasgow to Pass Control of Water System to WV American Water

West Virginia American Water and town of Glasgow officials will sign documents this Thursday to complete the closing of West Virginia American’s acquisition of the town’s water system. The water company said the singing will take place 10 a.m. at the Kanawha Valley Treatment Plant. The town of Glasgow serves about 300 customers along Route 60 in Kanawha County and has struggled to maintain adequate service to its customers in recent years, and West Virginia American said substantial infrastructure upgrades are needed to restore reliable water service.
