Gun Found at Yeager Airport TSA Checkpoint

A Charleston man has been cited after the Transportation Security Administration at Yeager Airport found a handgun Sunday in his carry-on bag. TSA officers detected a .22-caliber handgun loaded with five bullets at the checkpoint and confiscated the gun and detained the man for questioning, according to a news release from TSA. He was cited on weapons charges. It marks the first gun of the year found at Yeager this year.
