Huntington Quick Response Team Becomes a Model for Others

Huntington’s Quick Response Team that visits overdose victims and people going through addiction to try to get them into treatment is getting national attention. The U.S. Department of Justice has chosen Huntington as one of eight mentor sites where others can come to see how the program functions. Everyday Huntington’s Quick Response Team travels to visit someone who has overdosed on drugs within the past 48 hours. The goal is to get that person into treatment.
