A suspect is recovering after he was shot by Kanawha County deputies. The officers were investigating a suspicious person call in the West Gate subdivision in Cross Lanes when 49-year-old Michael Davis fired at them. Officers returned fire and shot him. When he is released from the hospital Davis will be charged with attempted murder.
