The driver who died in a head-on collision with a school bus has been identified as an admissions counselor at a nearby university. David Shutts was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash Wednesday in Parkersburg. The Wood County Sheriff’s Office said it appeared his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with the bus near West Virginia University at Parkersburg, where Shutts worked. There were 22 high school students on the bus and one had a minor injury.
