Former Charleston Mayor Danny Jones held the official opening for his new restaurant Wednesday. The restaurant is called Danny’s BBQ Stand and it’s on Quarrier Street. Jones retired from public office last year after serving four terms as the city’s mayor. Jones also owned several restaurants in the past, including Number 8 Capitol Street and Danny’s Rib House in Nitro.
