More Passengers Are Coming Through Yeager Airport

Yeager Airport officials say its passenger numbers are rising. More than 31,500 passengers came through the Charleston airport last month, which is an increase of more than 2,000 from this time last year. The airport said there were more than 15,800 people who left from Yeager last month and more than 15,700 passengers flying into Yeager. The numbers are up 6.6 and 7.7 percent from 2019. The airport launched a new Spirit flight to Orlando this month, which is expected to increase the number of passengers. The first Spirit flight to Orlando was Feb. 14 and sold out all 145 seats.
