One person was taken to the hospital after crashing their car into a ditch and breaking a gas line early Thursday morning on Smith Creek Road. Firefighters said Smith Creek Road between Greenview Road and Dry Ridge Road was closed while workers with Mountaineer Gas shut off the gas and fixed the issue. The road should be open again now.
