West Virginia American Water said in response to the coronavirus it has suspended shutting off water service due to non-payment and is restoring service to all customers whose service was previously discontinued for non-payment. The water company said in a news release Thursday that it will continue the practice as the current public health crisis continues. The company said it also is taking steps to protect employees, including allowing all but essential personnel to work from home.
