Capitol Market’s outdoor market plans to open for the season this week with precautions for COVID-19. The market will open Wednesday, April 15, with hours Monday through Sunday. The decision to open was made after talks with the city of Charleston, Charleston Fire Department, Kanawha County Commission, West Virginia Department of Agriculture, Capitol Market’s executive committee and the market’s outdoor vendors. The number of guests will be limited to 40 people and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
