At least three West Virginia colleges have set up emergency funds to help students. West Virginia University, West Virginia State University and Concord University say they’re trying to help students who’ve taken financial hits to continue their education. West Virginia State University students must have been in good standing and can apply for up to $500 on the college’s website. WVU is working to identify eligible students and the amount is still being worked out. Concord said it’s offering students up to $250 through its Gap Fund and students should complete an online application on Concord’s website.
