Fire Leads to Criminal Charges

A man faces charges in connection with a fire that caused an estimated more than $500,000 in damage to a Logan business and injured a firefighter. 25-year old Nicholas Conner is charged with first-degree arson and nighttime burglary after the fire Monday at J&J Auto Repair. A 20-year-old firefighter was injured when flaming material fell down in a partial roof collapse. The firefighter suffered burns to his neck, back and arms. He wasn’t transported to the hospital, and he is expected to be OK.
