Marshall University took its spring fountain ceremony to the web this year due to the coronavirus. The annual ceremony in which the fountain is turned on was broadcast Saturday morning on school social media accounts. The annual spring ceremony honors Marshall’s commitment to continuing its football program after the tragic crash on Nov. 14, 1970. The fountain will be turned off in November to mark the 50th anniversary of the crash.
