Walmart has joined Target in announcing it would also begin limiting the number of customers that are in its store at one time. Walmart will allow no more than five customers per 1,000 square feet of the store at a given time to better follow social distancing guidelines. Workers will start a queue at a single-entry door and customers are allowed in one-by-one and counted. Once a store reaches its capacity, customers will be admitted inside on a “1-out-1-in” basis.
