The Clay Center has announced plans for a limited reopening beginning June 15. Limited capacity summer camp programs will be offered, as well as art workshops, and classes and small group tours. Organizers said all of the programs will follow social distancing guidelines and the camps will be in self-contained classrooms. Public access to the Avampato Discovery Museum is not available until more statewide restrictions are lifted. Clay Center leaders hope to expand the opening in early summer.
