MaShawn Morton is a production cast member for Princess Cruises, and returned home to Huntington last Sunday after 69 days at sea. WCHS TV reported government restrictions prevented Morton and dozens of other crew members from returning home. He had been aboard the Sky Princess since Feb. 29, even after passengers were able to disembark in mid-March when the company suspended operations. The CDC and Princess Cruises reached an agreement last week that allowed him to finally return to West Virginia. Morton did not show any symptoms of COVID-19 but will remain quarantined for 14 days.
