A local Girl Scout delivered more than 80 cookies to Manna Meal Friday as part of efforts to help out during the pandemic. Nearly 8,000 scouts were encouraged to work on an activity to give back amid the pandemic and share it through social media. The Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Chief Executive Officer Beth Casey and her daughter, Hannah, made cookies as part of their effort. The Girl Scouts will also be making masks, writing letters to nursing homes and picking up trash in local parks as part of the event.
