Low-Contact Sports Resume Next Week

Some sports will start up again next week as part of the governor’s comeback plan. Athletes in low-contact sports can get back on the field starting June 8, and that includes softball, baseball, soccer and equestrian events. June 22 is when games with limited spectators will be allowed. Sits will have new protocols in place including signs, equipment cleaning, and health screenings. Equipment sharing is encouraged to be kept to a minimum under the new guidelines.
