More COVID-19 Testing Set for This Week

More drive-thru COVID-19 testing events are scheduled for Kanawha County this week. The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department and the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority will host testing from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today (Monday, June 22) at the health department. Health officials are urging anyone who has traveled recently to get tested. No appointments or doctors’ orders are necessary to get tested and it is open to anyone. The health department is at 108 Lee Street East in Charleston.

Other drive-up testing events are also scheduled during the week, first at the Schoenbaum Family Enrichment Center on Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. and then at Sissonville High School on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. Appointments are preferred for those events, but nobody will be turned away. You can call 304-348-1088 to make an appointment.
