Universities addressing racism on campus

Marshall University is creating the Coalition for Anti-Racism, a group that will advise the president and other organizations on racism, bias, and discrimination on campus. The University will hold listening sessions with students in the fall to discuss racism.

WVU President Gordon Gee says he’s creating working groups to find out where reforms can be made on campus. Four groups will focus on university policy, development of black leaders, the campus environment, and the campus and community relationships.
