WVU Will Require Facemasks This Fall

All West Virginia University students, faculty, staff and visitors will be required to wear face masks or coverings while on campus this fall. The university released COVID-19 safety initiatives for the fall at the Morgantown, Beckley and Keyser campuses and said all students, faculty and staff will get a welcome back kit containing a cloth mask or gaiter, disposable masks, hand sanitizer and a safe touch tool. Enhanced cleaning measures and reduced capacity will be used at the Mountainlair, libraries, Student Recreation Center, dining halls and other on-campus dining locations and public areas. Classrooms will be at 50% capacity whenever feasible this fall.
